Lost Marbles Play Benefit Concert for Lopez Grange Building Fund

  • Lopez Island Grange #1060 452 Richardson Rd. Lopez Island, WA 98261 (map)

Tempt your fate on Friday, October the 13th at 7 PM for an evening of music and friends with Lopez’s own Lost Marbles, who will play two sets of their original music and some well-worn covers to help raise awareness and funds to support the ongoing restoration of our beloved 120-year-old historic Lopez island Grange (former Center School). In 2023, Center School was listed on the Washington Historic Registry and National Historic Registry, recognized for its significant and unique contributions to Washington State and Lopez Island’s heritage. In the past several years, major building projects have been completed, including an entire exterior paint job, reroofing of the shed, upgrades to the well system, insulation and weatherization of the building, installation of energy-efficient heat pumps, and foundation repair.

LOST MARBLES is a group of Lopez musicians playing various genres, including country, folk, Americana, indie rock, and rock music. The group has played in various configurations for over nine years and focuses mainly on original material and a few well-worn covers.

LOST MARBLES are Nick Teague (vocals, percussion, and ukulele), Susie Teague (vocals, keyboards, bass, and percussion), Lisa Geddes (vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and accordion), Rosie Sumner (vocals and percussion), Justin Jones (guitar, mandolin, bass, and vocals), Geoff Heard (guitars, dobro, pedal steel, lap steel), and Todd Goldsmith (drums, percussion, bass, and vocals).

Tix: Suggested minimum donation for admission is $15 for adults and $8 for youth (Tix at the door). All proceeds benefit the Grange’s building & maintenance fund. 452 Richardson Rd., Lopez Is. WA. More info: lopezislandgrange@gmail.com
